Oman's OBC to grant infrastructure for SEZAD optic fiber network
(MENAFN) The Special Economic Zone Authority of Duqm (SEZAD) and Oman Broadband Company (OBC) inked a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
Under the MoU secured on Tuesday, OBC will be presenting SEZD with infrastructure for its optic fiber network.
SEZAD chairman H E Yahya bin Said al Jabri penned the agreement with OBC chairman of board of directors Said bin Hamdoon al Harthy.
The deal was confirmed to be guaranteeing high speed Internet services to be available via Omani licensed communication service providers.
SEZAD director general of the investor services Saleh bin Hamoud al Hassani stated that"the services provided by OBC to SEZD comes in a bid to keep pace with the development and growth witnessed by SEZD due to the many projects implemented in the zone."
