Five missing after freighter sinks in Yangtze River
(MENAFN) Rescue crews are searching for 5 staff members who were uncounted for after their freighter sank in a section of the Yangtze River near Wanzhou, Chongqing Municipality, Saturday evening.
The incident took place at around 7 p.m. Saturday.
The Yangtze Waterway Bureau and the municipal maritime safety department have dispatched a crew to the scene of the incident to assist with the search and rescue operation.
