Iraq: Turkish airstrikes kill 5 PKK militants
(MENAFN) the Turkish General Staff declared that five PKK militants have died in the Turkish Air Force raid carried out against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists in northern Iraq.
It added that the raids were conducted in Hakurk and Metina districts.
Meanwhile, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu confirmed that from early 2018,
87,838raids have been conducted against the PKK terrorist group in Turkey.
Soylu added: "In 2017, 380 PKK terrorists and in 2018, 343 terrorists surrendered to Turkish law enforcement agencies."
