Chinese envoy hails ties with Gambia
(MENAFN) A Chinese envoy applauded the already strong and close relations between China and The Gambia.
The statement was made by China's new ambassador to The Gambia Ma Jianchun during an event honoring him in the country.
The Chinese ambassador stated: "the China-Gambia cooperation in various areas is already impressive and we are glad to see more projects coming."
The ambassador further noted that December was scheduled as the time of commencement of a road and bridge establishment project.
Ma added "I assured President Adama Barrow that I shall exert my best efforts to develop friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and deepen the friendship of our peoples."
