Iran's industry minister steps down
(MENAFN) Iranian Mohammad Shariatmadari was announced to have stepped down as Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade.
The resignation tender was approved by Iran's President Hassan Rouhani who picked a caretaker minister of industry as Shariatmadari's successor.
IRNA reported the Iranian president to have chosen Reza Rahmani to assume the position of caretaker minister of industry.
Rouhani was also reported to have recommended Rahmani to parliament for the unoccupied ministry for the vote of confidence.
