Ties between Qatar Amiri Naval Forces and US counterpart reviewed

The Commander of the Qatar Amiri Naval Forces, H E Major General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Sulaiti met with the Commander of the US Fifth Fleet, Admiral Scott Sterne, at Qatar Amiri Naval Forces Headquarters. During the meeting, the officials discussed the cooperation between the Qatar Amiri Naval Forces and its US counterpart regarding the fight against terrorism with the CTF152 group, to which the State of Qatar is a member, besides the closer relations between them as well as briefing on the future projects that serve the parties. The meeting concluded with a reconnaissance tour of the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces including the combat units, naval centre for war courses and operational training.
