Kuwait- Police identifies Manila resort attacker, says no terrorism involved
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 (KUNA) -- The attacker, responsible to the death of 37 individuals at the Resorts World Manila on June 2, has been identified as Jessie Javier Carlos, a gambler with debts, said the Filipino police Sunday.
Manila's police chief Oscar Albayalde told the press that the incident, which also led to the injury of scores of people, was not terror related despite claims by the so-called Islamic State (IS) that it carried out the attack.
