India- Industrial building plan approval in Odisha available online now

Bhubaneswar, May 8 (KNN) Giving push to ease of doing business environment in the state, the industrial building plan approval in Odisha has now been made available online.

The Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICOL) highlighted the industry friendly reforms taken by the Housing and Urban Development Department of Odisha.

Now, no prior permission from Authority is required for low risk industrial buildings in case approval of building plan is taken from an accredited technical person.

The NoCs for industrial buildings can be fastracked through joint site inspection by concerned Departments.

Now, a Single Building code is applicable for all industries being set-up in any urban rea. The Master plans are prepared for all Development Authorities and they have been made available online.

IPICOL has allowed third party certification for architectural drawings/ structural designs and for issuance of completion certificates.

In the wake of all the reforms being taken in state, Odisha Government has invited industries to explore new opportunities in the state. (KNN Bureau)
