Governor of Makkah Region: Authorities return about 160000 violators without Hajj permits

JEDDAH 9th September 2015 (WAM) -- Prince Khalid al-Faisal Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee has said that the relevant authorities have returned about 160.000 violators who did not have Hajj permits.

According to Saudi Press Agency SPA these remarks were made during his chairing of the meeting of the Central Hajj Committee held at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah yesterday.

During the meeting Prince Khalid al-Faisal stressed the Kingdom's keenness to ensure the safety of pilgrims highlighting statements by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz the Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister in this regard. Prince Khalid al-Faisal said "We will not allow disruption of this great religious ritual or any breach of security."

He added "All preventive measures to ensure the security of the pilgrimage will be applied and we hope everyone will comply with regulations."
