Hamdan bin Zayed tours Western Region's water sports festival
(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, today visited the 7th Western Region Water Sports Festival being held at the Corniche of Al Marfa.
As he attended part of the competitions inspired by the UAE's maritime culture, Sheikh Hamdan said the event is held in line with the wise leadership's directives to promote the culture and heritage of the country.
Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied during his tour by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the UAE kitesurf, water skiing and rowing committee and a number of senior officials.
