Poroshenko, Merkel Discuss East Ukraine Situations
Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko and Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, have discussed, during a telephone conversation, the deterioration of the sitiuation in East Ukraine, said the Ukrainian Presideny today.
They discussed ways to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis in addition to Poroshenko's decision to dissolve the parliament and order early parliamentary elections.
Poroshenko is expected to travel, later today, to the Belarus capital Minsk to meet with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
