Kuwait- Newborn baby dumped

(MENAFN- Arab Times) A newborn baby was recently found abandoned inside a carton in Egaila. According to security sources, a Kuwaiti citizen was walking down a road in Egaila when he heard the cries of a baby from a carton. As soon as he noticed the baby, he informed the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and discovered that it was a newborn and healthy baby. They suspected that the baby was illegitimate and the parents had abandoned it in the carton after covering it with a piece of cloth. They referred the baby to the nearest hospital. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to find the parents.
