Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, NOW Health International ink agreement

(MENAFNEditorial) Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai (Moorfields) – the Dubai branch of the world renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London - and Now Health International (Services) FZ-LLC (Now Health) have signed a medical services provider agreement under which customers purchasing Now Health products underwritten by AXA Insurance (Gulf) B.S.C. (c) ("AXA") will have access to Moorfields' services in Dubai, with the added convenience of direct billing. Insurance affiliations are helping to create access to some of the best eye care in the world for patients in Dubai, the UAE and the GCC, according to Moorfields. The agreement with Now Health International, which acts as AXA's administrator for Now Health products only, brings to 18 the total number of insurance affiliations that the hospital has established since setting up its dedicated, specialist hospital in 2007. Many of the more than 10,000 patients treated each year by Moorfields are covered by one of the insurance affiliates working with the hospital, and the number of insured patients is growing strongly, as a proportion of the total patient base. Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, a branch of Moorfields London (the world's leading eye centre) provides world class services for conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, corneal grafts, Diabetic Retinopathy, paediatric, strabismus, plus Lasik surgery and cosmetic treatments, through a permanent team of specialist consultants.
