(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 23 (KUNA) -- Teams of firefighters have brought a fire that gutted a waste disposal plant in Western Mina Abdullah under control, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said on Saturday.
KFSD received a call at 8:28 am this morning over a blaze at a waste disposal site, where teams of firefighters were dispatched to the scene immediately, read a statement by the Kuwaiti fire department.
Meanwhile, the statement added that high wind gusts caused the blaze to spread, but the fire crews managed to suppress the inferno despite the unstable weather. (end) ays.amh.nam
