(MENAFN) Iranian President Hassan Rouhani was declared to be set to embark on a visit to China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.
The announcement has been made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang in a speech during the SCO special press conference.
The visit has come under the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, the president to be leading a delegation.
Lu Kang also confirmed that the SCO summit is to be joined by president of Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
