Pakistan- CM's wife not allowed travel to US from Peshawar Airport


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak's wife Amira Khattak was disembarked from US-bound plane at Peshawar Airport over not having her identity card on Saturday.

Sources said Amira Khattak had boarded a plane to travel to the US, but the Immigration officials did not allow her to travel for not possessing overseas Pakistanis identity card.

The chief minister's wife, who also possesses the US citizenship, was scheduled to depart for the US on Emirates flight EK-637 at 9:00am. She possessed all other required documents, but was not allowed to travel for not possessing the overseas identity card.
