Pakistan- KP released Rs2.5 billion for construction of 200 schools


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released over Rs2.5 billion for the construction of two hundred schools in the province.

Officials of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education said that most of these schools would be constructed in rural areas to enhance literacy rate.

They said that the government has also launched enrollment campaign in the province to bring out of school children back to schools.

So far about three hundred thousand children have been enrolled in schools while according to a new report every fourth girl in KP is out of school.
