(MENAFN) Turkish media declared that an army convoy has been ambushed in Turkey"s Hakkari province.
The incident left two servicemen have died as another three were wounded .
Preliminary investigations revealed that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) was blamed for the attack.
The battle between Turkey and the PKK, which calls for an independent Kurdish state, has resumed for over 30 years and has left at least 40,000 dead.
