AJMAN, 20th May, 2018 (WAM) -- A delegation headed by Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, recently visited Kuwait.
The delegation also included Dr. Abdul Haq Al Nuaimi, Vice-Chancellor for Advancement and Communication, and Dr. Khaled Al Saleh, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
The members of the delegation metDr. Sabih Al - Mukhaizeem, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait. During the meeting, Dr. Seghir reviewed the strategic plan of Ajman University to further the international recognition of its programmes.
The delegation also visited the University of Kuwait and met the Director, Dr. Hussain Ahmed Ansari. The two sides discussed avenues of mutual understanding, along with joint cooperation in the field of scientific research and exchanges of students and faculty.
At the Gulf University of Science and Technology, the delegation met Dr. Salah Al Sharhan, Acting-Director of the University, and agreed to sign a MoU for cooperation between the two educational institutions to further their role of providing the industries with well-rounded graduates.
Following earlier visits to neighbouring countries, the Ajman University management met the alumni chapter. It is always a proud moment for university officials to see the progress made by the graduates in their respective careers. Chancellor Seghir briefed them about the latest developments of the colleges and the international accreditations that the university is obtaining. The alumni noted that they remained connected to their university through the establishment of the alumni chapter, which has eased the communication and career counselling process.
