Indonesia: search operation for 3 missing people to continue


(MENAFN) An official declared that the search and relief mission of the three people who went missing after the oil tanker blaze in waters off central Indonesia,resumes amid attempts to get rid of leaked oil.

The relief operation involved Personnel from navy, water police,search and rescue office,and disaster management agency,in efforts to search the waters off Balikpapan Gulf,according to the leader of the operational unit at the provincial disaster management agency,Muriyono.

He added that two corpses were recovered following the blaze that inflamed ship filled with diesel fuel.

Muriyono confirmed that'The tanker ship was loaded with diesel fuel,which has leaked into the waters. Now,the personnel from Pertamina are trying to neutralize the risks,'
