UK information commissioner inspects Cambridge Analytica offices

(MENAFN) Britain's information commissioner was revealed to have sent enforcement officers to inspect Cambridge Analytica's offices in London.

The data watchdog has been handed a search warrant from the High Court based on accusations of storing data of countless Facebook users illegally.

Enforcement officers were confirmed to have searched the offices for seven hours early Saturday after a High Court judge provided a warrant in less than an hour.

Members of the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) were later spotted getting out of the offices while, as they were believed, holding in possession gathered evidence.
