NIOC: Iran oil production to not increase

(MENAFN) Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Ali Kardor declared Iran's decision to refrain from working to increase oil production in the new Persian year.

Citing the managing director, ISNA news agency reported Iran to be generating at present around 3.9 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil.

He reportedly announced "Iran's oil production will not increase in the year of 1397 and will remain steady at the current levels."

Kardor also confirmed Iran's exports to stand between 1.7 million bpd and 1.75 million bpd barring condensate sales.
