Doha: Alfardan Motorcycles, the official importer of Ducati Motorcycles in Qatar, launched its Ducati Party this year for VIP customers on February 28 at the Antica Pesa Italian Restaurant, Kempinski Marsa Malaz hotel, The Pearl Qatar.
The event kicked off in a great atmosphere set by Antica's cozy ambience facing the sea, with servings of authentic Italian dishes and live music as guests enjoyed the presence of Ducati MotoGP Team and Riders, especially Andrea Dovizioso and the winner of Grand Prix of Qatar 2016, the 3-time world champion Jorge Lorenzo and the Ducati Team's Sporting Director, Paolo Ciabatti.
Alfardan Motorcycles hosted this year's Ducati party as part of its exclusive opening activities for Ducati fans who are warming up for the first race of the MotoGP 2018 season to be held during the Grand Prix of Qatar at Losail International Circuit running from March 16 to 18, 2018. Qatar has been hosting MotoGP events since 2004, featuring some of the most spectacular racing events globally.
Ayad As Siaidi, General Manager of Alfardan Motorcycles, said: 'It has been a delightful and enjoyable evening for our Ducati bike enthusiasts as we brought together all the elements that make the Ducati a bike of choice for our customers. Food, music and their favorite MotoGP riders made the evening another successful prelude to MotoGP 2018 which is set to start at the mid of March.
'Our exciting lineup of activities in the run-up to the much-awaited event is certainly a roaring initiative for our motorcycle fans as we inch closer to race day at the Losail International Circuit.
