Turkey liberates 90 settlements in Syria's Afrin

The number of liberated settlements in Syria's Afrin as part of the Operation Olive Branch has reached 90, the Turkish media reported Feb. 21 referring to military sources.

The Turkish Armed Forces liberated three settlements in the north of Syria's Afrin on the border with Turkey on Feb. 21.

On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.

F-16 fighters of the Turkish Air Force are involved in the operation, inflicting strikes on the positions of PYD/YPG on the Syrian-Turkish border.
