Oxfam scandal: chief executive apologizes over damages


(MENAFN) Chief executive for Oxfam, Mark Goldring, has apologized for his charity's actions that led to great harm to Haiti people.

MPs on the International Development Committee are holding an inquiry with him involving misconduct committed by several of staff members.

The chief executive also expressed his regrets over comments he made on infants murders, a comment which went on as: "the intensity and ferocity of the attack makes you wonder, what did we do? We murdered babies in their cots?"

He emphasized how "deeply sorry" he was for the remarks which he uttered while "under stress".
