Samsung patents drones that can be controlled with eyes

Samsung might create drones in the future that will be able to recognize and interpret users' gestures, voice commands, and even eye movements.
The company has patented drones that will be incorporated with an integrated display to detect faces, eye pupils, hand gestures, and overall user position.
Filed in 2016, the patent was recently granted on February 13, 2018.
The drone will have a display screen and four propellers

According to the patent, the drone will feature a display at its center and four propellers on each corner. It will include a camera and observation system to transmit information to the main control unit (most likely to be a smartphone).
The drone will track user movements in real-time
Details
Since the drone will be able to track eyes, head, hands, and fingers in real-time, users will be able to control the drone's flight speed and direction only by moving their body, without having to use a remote control.
The patent also describes the drone sporting obstacle detection capabilities to automatically detect and avoid structures while flying.
The drone will not be necessarily quad-rotor in shape

The patent describes the drone as having joint manipulator and propellers that can change the thrust direction and the inclination angle of the flight.
Interestingly, it is not necessary that the drone will be quad-rotor in shape; Samsung can reconfigure the unit to different forms to suit its requirement.
The drone might also include GPS and Wi-Fi capabilities, gyroscope sensor, motion sensor, and/or accelerometer.
