France to open fire against Syria in case of chemical weapons usage


(MENAFN) French president Emmanuel Macron confirmed his intentions to open fire against Syria in case a "proven evidence" of President Bashar Assad's government using chemical weapons on civilians is found.

France "will strike the place where they are launched or where they are prepared", the French President warned.

Reports showed a potential chlorine strikes on Syrian civilians, as many people from a revolutionary town suffered from breathing issues.

France stated that the chemical test of the toxic sarin gas outbreak in Syria had "the signature" of Assad's authority.
