Some of the products on display will include, Mercer's All Metals and Aluminum Cut-Off Wheels. Black Lightning™ All Metals Cut-Off Wheels are made from heat-treated Aluminum Oxide grain for cutting ferrous metals, including stainless steel. The new Aluminum Cut-Off Wheels are manufactured from a combination of Aluminum Oxide, Silicone Carbide and Chromium grains which prevent loading when used on soft metals, perfect for cutting aluminum fence posts. Both types of wheels are extra thin for smooth and fast cutting and are double reinforced with high tensile strength fiberglass. In addition the Aluminum Cut-Off Wheels are balanced to avoid vibration.
Visitors will also be able to see Mercer Industries Zirconia Flap Discs. Available in both high and standard density, these wheels are the right choice for smoothing sharp edges. Made from high grade zirconia, these wheels are long lasting and sharp. The shape is ideal for contour and edge work, completing the job of grinding wheels and a resin fibre disc, saving time and money. This is Mercer's most popular flap disc for stainless steel and large jobs.
