(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received on Tuesday the Undersecretary General and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Mohammad Ali Al-Hakim on the occasion of his official visit to the country.
This visit comes to boost regional coordination between Arab nations to implement the sustainable developmental plan for 2030 in the Arab region.
During their meeting, the Foreign Minister praised the efforts exerted by Al-Hakim, emphasizing Kuwait's distinguished efforts in enhancing a comprehensive strategy to conduct the sustainable development goals at the national and regional levels.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for economic affairs Ambassador Amal Al-Hamad, and Acting Assistant Foreign Minister for the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister's Office Ambassador Saleh Al-Loughani, and a number of Ministry's officials. (end) lb
