SAF organises seminar on General Mobilisation

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) organised a seminar on 'General Mobilisation' under the patronage of Lt Gen Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, SAF chief of staff.

The seminar was held within the framework of SAF's preparations for Shumookh II, Swift Sword III exercises and in activation of the Royal Decree 76/2008 on the General Mobilisation Law, as well the Royal Decree 75/2008 on State of Emergency Law.

The seminar included several military and security units, as well as civil institutions concerned with the General Mobilisation Law and State of Emergency Law.

The seminar was attended by commanders of the Royal Army of Oman, Royal Air Force of Oman, Royal Navy of Oman, Royal Guard of Oman, Commandant of the National Defence College, Secretary General of Military Affairs at the Royal Office, Assistant Head of the Internal Security Service for Operations, Secretary General of the National Security Council at the Royal Office, senior officers at SAF, military and security units.
