Qatar- MES conducts workshop for teachers

MES Indian School organised a two-day activity based workshop for teachers on December 27 and 28 at the school premises.

The workshop aimed at enhancing teachers to be more efficient and competent in their profession especially in nurturing relationship and emotional intelligence among students.

Aarti C Rajaratnam, a globally acclaimed Clinical Psychologist, an author and NLP Master Trainer, was the resource person for the two-day of workshop.

It is the first of its kind for teachers of all expatriate schools under one roof.

‘Neuroscience of Learning and Personal Effectiveness to be an Inspiring Teacher' were the major topics handled during the activity-oriented workshop.

A total of 350 teacher from various expatriate schools in Doha participated in the workshop.

All through the session, the participants were divided into small groups and engaged with variety of physical activities based on linking eyes and hand coordination as advocated in neuroscience learning, which can be executed in classes.

Aarti C Rajaratnam, while demonstrating the ways to augment the essential quality of resonance among teachers, also provided solutions to various child centered behavioural issues posed by the audience at the end of each topic.
