(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- OTE Group - Subaru recently organised a family event: A drive to Jebel Shams, especially for the owners of XV, Forester and Outback models.
More than 30 Subaru owners along with their family and friends from Muscat, Nizwa, Ibri, Seeb other areas enthusiastically participated in the day long drive to Jebel Shams - Season 2 event, during which they experienced the true potential of Subaru all-wheel drive and also the capabilities and comfort of the vehicles.
This event was organised in-line with Subaru's philosophy that automobiles should be more than just a means of transportation; they should also be a source of enjoyment and enjoyment comes from peace of mind. These two inseparable values are central to the Subaru experience.
The participants assembled at the Subaru Showroom in Wattayah for breakfast and after filling fuel with pre-loaded fuel cards, proceeded on a convoy to reach Subaru Showroom, Nizwa. After a brief refreshment break and joined by few other families at Nizwa, the convoy headed to Jebel Shams, where arrangements were made for the guests to relax comfortably and enjoy the highest mountain in Oman and the surrounding canyons.
A brief demo was organised at Jebel Shams to demonstrate the capabilities of the newly introduced EyeSight technology. EyeSight is Subaru's innovative and highly acclaimed driver assist technology that delivers extremely reliable preventive safety and reduces driver burdens through features such as Pre-Collision Braking Control, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist functions.
