Aden, Rabi'I 29, 1439, Dec 17, 2017, SPA -- The Yemeni government has confirmed that the international and humanitarian organizations can manage their activities in the interim capital of Aden.
During his meeting with the Russian delegation, Yemeni Minister of Local Administration and Chairman of the Supreme Relief Committee Abdulraqeep Fateh urged donors to use Aden seaport in addition to airports and ports in the liberated governorates to deliver aid to Yemen.
The official Yemeni news agency said that the Yemeni minister discussed with the Russian delegation in Riyadh today the possibility of providing humanitarian and relief aid to Yemen and coordination with the Russian Ministry of Emergency in this regard.
The Yemeni official called for more humanitarian and relief aid to his country in light of the catastrophic circumstances caused by the Iran-backed Houthi coup militias.
For his part, the Russian delegation expressed his country's readiness to cooperate with the Yemeni government in the humanitarian and relief fields.
