Palm Trading Co. Visits the South Pacific island of Bora Bora and Designs a Bora Bora Series Island Style Wood Watch

(MENAFNEditorial) Just recently the Palm Trading Co. traveled to the South Pacific to visit the French Polynesian Island of Bora Bora to get inspiration on the design of their Bora Bora Series wood watch. Palm Trading Co. was started due to the founder's love of the islands and ocean. Palm Trading Co. has created a collection of wood watches for like-minded island enthusiasts that will allow people to live the island lifestyle and to provide them with a brand that has deep island roots, style and craftsmanship.

All of their are hand-made from all natural materials with the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. From the different varieties of woods used, colors of the hands & dial, to the detailed logo design, each is unique within it-self and is sure to please any island enthusiast. Each is designed and named after a particular island.

When designing a new island style wood watch series, the Palm Trading Co. crew always travels to a new island destination and spends some time there learning the island, culture, cuisine and overall vibe so that it can be incorporated into the design of the island style . Palm Trading Co. founder Dallas Alford commented by saying 'We are never in a hurry when we design one of our new island style wooden watches. Our team takes the time to absorb the feeling we get when we visit a particular island and we incorporate that when we design a new watch series. This includes the types of woods used, shape of the watch, size, and everything down to the finest detail. Our goal is to have someone buy one of our timepieces because it reminds them of the island the wood watch is named after and allows them to live the island lifestyle all the time.

When the Palm Trading Co. crew visited Bora Bora, which is a small South Pacific island located in French Polynesia that is known for soaring mountain peaks, turquoise lagoons and luxury overwater bungalows, they quickly realized Bora Bora is one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Just the experience of staying in an overwater bungalow with a see-through glass floor was amazing.

Alford stated that 'After the Palm Trading Co. crew returned from Bora Bora, we designed the Bora Bora Series using red sandalwood as it reminds one of the types of wood seen in the overwater bungalows that are common across the island. We hope the design of this timepiece reminds island enthusiasts of their last visit to the beautiful island of Bora Bora.
