(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) CHARSADDA, 11 December: A young doctor of the Hayatabad Medical Complex, Khurshid Alam Afridi has been mysterious killed by unknown people, police said here on Monday.
According to police, the dead body of the doctor was found in the fields in Sro Kalay area tehsil Shabqadar, district Charsadda. 'The doctor has been stabbed to death,' a police official said.
Dr Khurshid Afridi, son of Muhammad Alam, belonged to the Shalobar tribe of the Khyber Agency. He was a Trainee Medical Officer (TMO) at the Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC).
His brother lodged a report with the police stating that Dr. Afridi left home in his car on Monday morning. He added that they were informed in the evening that the body of Dr. Khursheed was found in Shabqadar.
The complainant categorically said that they had not enmity with anybody.
The police has registered FIR against unknown persons and started investigation into the case.
