The Omani karate Committee completes its preparations for the Sultanate's tenth karate championship


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Omani karate committee is preparing for the Sultanate's tenth karate championship which will be conducted between20 and 23 December 2017in the main hall of Sultan Qaboos sports Complex in Boshar ,Muscat Governorate where many Omani clubs and Karate Centres are expected to take part.

The championship will be conducted according to the World Karate Federation (WKF) system rules and regulations in the domain of Kata and kumite.A course for the Coaches and referees will precede the championship in the same period in the lectures hall of the sports Complex where the rules of international arbitration will be discussed and some theoretical explanations on the changes and updates of the rules will be given then applied in practice on the field.And about the ongoing preparation for the championship, Mr. Ahmed bin Said Al Zakwani the chief referees committee declared that this championship will be conducted according to the annual plan of the Omani karate Committee programme and all preparations have been done on time.The competitions will be conducted according to the age groups and weights . It worth mentioning that the Omani karate Committee presided by brigadier Abdul Malik bin Ghassan Al Mazrooi is taking more care over the sport of Karate and its fans and is aware of what is new in this sport.
