Do people believe in alien life? A Survey answers

(MENAFN)A survey in 24 countries mentioned that almost half of humans believe in the existence of alien life and want to make contact, leading researchers to say that this explains the lasting popularity of the "Star Wars" movie.

Researchers published after the release of 'The Last Jedi' saying that 47 per cent of more than 26,000 respondents believe "in the existence of intelligent alien civilizations in the universe".

When asked if they believe in "some form of life on other planets" 61 per cent respondents said "yes", however; researchers at Glocalities said that a quarter said they do not believe in the existence of intelligent life beyond Earth.

Among those who believe we are not alone in the universe, 60 per cent of the respondents who believe they are not alone in the universe, said contact with alien civilizations must be initiated.
