Oil prices rise among tensions in Middle East


(MENAFN) Due to the fall in US inventories, oil prices rose on Wednesday, where there are concerns that tensions in the Middle East could affect supplies.

The international benchmark for oil prices Brent crude futures, was at USD58.27, which is up 39 cents, or 0.7 percent from their last close - and a third above mid-year levels.

On the other hand, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were at USD52.08 per barrel, up 20 cents, or 0.4 percent and almost a quarter above mid-June levels.
