Supreme Court allows partial travel ban

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) WASHINGTON, June 26 (KUNA) -- The US Supreme Court Monday decided to allow a watered-down version of President Donald Trump's travel ban to go into effect in 72 hours, per his request.

Travelers from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen will have to demonstrate they have a "bona fide" relationship with the US, such as family relations or employment visas, to enter the country, the Supreme Court ruled.

Justices will hear the full case when they resume their fall session in October. (end) ys.mt
