Morocco's Fouzi Lekjaa Elected Member of CAF Executive Committee

style="display:inline-block;width:468px;height:15px" data-ad-client="ca-pub-9546318280945074" data-ad-slot="4721527165"> Addis-Abeba – President of the Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) Fouzi Lekjaa was elected, on Thursday in Addis-Abeba, as member of CAF executive committee, during the body's 39th ordinary general assembly which is being held in the Ethiopian capital.

Lekjaa was competing for the 2017-2012 CAF's north zone spot (Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia) against president of the Algerian football federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua, while president of the Libyan federation Anwar El Tashani decided to stand down.

The head of the Moroccan Football Federation won 41 votes against 7 for Raouraoua who was elected to the sit in the CAF executive committee for the first time in June 2004 in Tunisia, and a second time in 2013.
