Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 236.68 points (-2.16%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,702.12 points Tuesday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 15,868,505 from 15,299,536 on Monday and the value of shares added to QR700,867,884.36 from QR591,649,710.36 on Monday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 37 saw trading today. From these 12 gained and 25 companies closed lower.
Indices of all seven sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index decreased -2.16 to 17,455.27 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index down -1.80% to 4,125.16 points and QSE All Share Index lost -1.90% to 2,966.12 points. (QNA)
