(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Army's Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Khoder discussed with Commander of the US Central Command Joseph Votel on Thursday issues germane to bilateral cooperation. A statement by the Ministry of Defense noted that Al-Khoder also held talks with the visiting US military official over issues of mutual concern, chiefly, ones dealing with security.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Chief of Staff for the army's operations and planning department Major General Ahmad Al-Omairi. (end) asa.nam
