KR Calendar 2017 celebrates Omani poets


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Khimji Ramdas (KR) has launched its calendar for the current year celebrating Oman's rich cultural heritage. The initiative is part of an overall KR drive to uphold and highlight noteworthy achievements of Oman and its people.

Nailesh Khimji, director, KR, said, 'The Khimiji Ramdas calendar has always followed a tradition of highlighting one chosen sector each year, in which it celebrates the people of Oman and their accomplishments.'

This year, as part of its culture and heritage focus, the KR calendar has chosen to shine the spotlight on 13 illustrious Omani poets, Ahmed bin Abdullah al Harthy, Hibal bin Bader al Bausaidi and Abdullah bin Ali al Sadrani and many others whose works have been widely appreciated and honoured throughout Oman. The calendar has an avant-garde look and feel, enhanced with special gold printing and droplet UV effects.

Some of the sultanate's literary geniuses have received honourablementions in the KR annual calendar. This KR 2017 calendarspotlighting Oman's cultural stalwartsis receiving rave reviews from different sections of the society, especially from connoisseurs of art and literature. It wouldn't be surprising that this piece of creative art is well on its way to achieve the status of a collector's item.
