(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 1 (KUNA) -- Youth Theater festival concluded its 11th edition on Thursday, with seven troupes displaying their works on stage since November 22.
The play 'Sneeze' for the Kuwaiti Theater troupe won best overall theatrical work, and its director Abdullah Al-Turkumani won best director award.
'Raya and Sakeena' won award for best harmonized play, while playwright Mariam Nasser won best author for 'Memory in the Shadow'.
Ali Al-Husseini won best actor in a leading role in 'Raya and Sakeena', while Heba Al-Durri won best actress in a leading role for 'Majareeh', or the 'Wounded'.
Young Nouf Al-Sultan won best actress in a supporting role, while Bader Al-Shuaibi won best actor in a supporting role.
Best lighting award went to Abdullah Al-Nassar, best promising actor award went to Rawan Al-Mahdi, while director Meshari Al-Mujaibel won theatrical creativity award. (end) fsa.hb
