Abu Dhabi's Masdar installs 50 percent in Morocco project


(MENAFN) Masdar, Abu Dhabi's renewable energy Co. has installed 50 percent of the solar home systems, which are part of a project to offer elect to rural Morocco.

Additionally, the installation of 9,000 of 17,670 systems through 940 villages comes after the business agreement was signed between Masdar and Morocco's ONEE.

Both sides are pleased that its partnership with ONEE is realizing one of the largest and most innovative solar home installation projects.

Moreover, the project is predicted to be finished by the second half of this year, while will be supplied and installed under a project executed by Masdar.
