Abu Dhabi Aviation and Aerospace Week opens tomorrow

Abu Dhabi Air Expo brings together major players in aviation enabling attendees to discover the industry's latest developments and innovations. This year’s event will also play host to the Abu Dhabi Heli Expo for the first time showcasing the best of the helicopter industry.
Air Expo 2016 occupies nearly 60000 square meters of space at Al Bateen Executive Airport with around 300 manufacturers and suppliers exhibiting the latest private aircraft helicopters airport equipment and services and avionics as well as providing information on insurance and financing.
There will be a number of aircraft making their debut at Air Expo for 2016 including one of Etihad Airways’ Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft an A320 charter aircraft and one of Saudi’s Sky Prime A340 aircraft.
Abu Dhabi Air Expo will host a daily airshow display from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. to include acrobatic shows from Fursan Al Emarat Red Bull Breitling and two trainer aircraft from Etihad Flight College.
Running alongside the three day show is the Middle East Aviation Career Conference and Exhibition MEAC which will be held at the Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies. This inaugural conference will highlight key issues facing this dynamic industry such as the challenge of secure human capital. Two of the conference discussions will center around how to develop national talent and ways to attract more women to the aviation and aerospace sectors.

More than 20000 visitors are expected to make their way to the event and over 150 aircraft from ultra-light to heavy business jets are on display to be explored by aircraft enthusiasts and businesses searching for the best airplanes and aviation-related services.
