Palestine- Confrontations in Nablus after settlers storm Nabi Yusuf tomb

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A number of Israeli military vehicles, early Thursday moved into the West Bank city of Nablus to protect Jewish settlers who stormed what they claimed to be the "Nabi Yusuf Tomb".
Local sources said that the extremist settlers stormed the "Nabi Yusuf" shrine and performed their religious rituals under the protection of the Israeli soldiers.
The sources added that Israeli forces closed number of streets in the area near Askar and Balata refugee camps to secure the access of busses carrying the settlers.
Clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and the Israeli soldiers who fired teargas canisters at the locals, leaving a number of them suffocated, the sources added.
