Qatari FM receives phone call from UN chief
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah received a phone call from UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon yesterday. They discussed the tragic conditions in the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus.
Hearing in food poisoning case adjourned
A Doha Misdemeanour Court has adjourned until April 13, the hearing of a case involving the suspected food poisoning of some customers of Marmara Istanbul Restaurant, local Arabic daily Arrayah has reported.
The court wanted to hear the witness accounts of experts from the Supreme Council of Health and to discuss the reports they had submitted on the samples taken from the restaurant. The Public Prosecution had referred six accused from Marmara Istanbul Restaurant to the court, charging them with dealing in expired food.
