QSE Index Declines 44.07 Points This Week


(MENAFN- QNA) Qatar Stock Exchange index declined 44.07 points (-0.32%) this week when the bourse closed at 13,830.90 points Thursday.

The trading value of QR 2,743,186,035.05 is an increase by 1.08% this week compared to QR 2,713,963,874.06 last week.

The trading volume of 65,373,075 shares is a decrease by 2.16% compared to 66,813,228 shares, while the 26,636 transactions is an increase by 3.34% compared to 25,776 transactions last week.

The market capitalization of QR 742,895,677,169.83 is an increase by 0.49% compared to QR 739,243,260,282.13 at the end of previous week.

Banks and financial services led the traded value this week with 37.84% of the total traded value. Real estate accounted for 30.57%. Industries accounted for 16.98% and telecoms accounted for 5.07%.

Real estate led the traded volume this week with 56.19% of the total traded volume. Banks and financial services accounted for 21.74%. Industries accounted for 7.05% and telecoms which accounted for 6.97%.

Real estate topped the number of transactions this week with 30.86% of the total transactions. Banks and financial services accounted for 28.98%. Industries accounted for 21.80%, and consumer goods and services accounted for 6.03%.

From the 43 listed companies, 15 ended this week higher, 27 declined and one remained unchanged.

Ezdan Holding Group topped the traded value during this week with 23.14% of the total traded. Qatar National Bank accounted for 9.91% and Industries Qatar accounted for 9.37%.
