Travels triumph in Kanoo cricket
(MENAFN- Arab News) RIYADH: Travels Division scored a comfortable 30-run win over Kanoo Freight to emerge champions in the Kanoo Inter-Division cricket tournament held here recently.
Put into bat by holders Freight Travels put on board 133 for 5 from their stipulated overs. Thanks to a brilliant unbeaten 68 runs by opener Dilina. Junaid supported him with a well-made 29.
Inam was the most successful bowler and bagged 2 wickets. Ranjith and Bashir shared 2 wickets.
Chasing a reachable target Freight Division made a hash of it and were bowled out for 103 runs. Ranjith (18) and Nickson (35 not out) were the only batsmen who tried to make a fight of it.
Dilina showed his all-round skills as he bagged 3 wickets while Junaid and Vikram took 2 wickets each.

Man-of the-Final: Dilina.
Man-of-the Series: Riyaz (machinery).
Best Batsman: Mohammed Shakir (Travels).
Best Bowler: Abdul Qadar (Freight).
